1. Images stay on your device
All compression and resizing happens locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks. Your photos are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We have no servers that receive your images.
2. Information we do not collect
- We don't require an account, email, or login.
- We don't upload, store, or have access to your photos or files.
- We don't include advertising or third-party tracking/analytics SDKs.
3. Limited information used to run subscriptions
To provide and restore subscriptions (Sizely Pro), we use Apple's In-App Purchase system and RevenueCat as our subscription manager. For this purpose the following is processed:
- An anonymous, randomly generated app user ID (not linked to your name or email).
- Your purchase and receipt information (which product you bought, renewal/expiry, country, and device platform), used to unlock Pro features and restore purchases across your devices.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your card or payment details.
4. Photo Library permission
Sizely requests add-only access to your Photo Library for the single purpose of saving the compressed images you create. We do not read, browse, or upload your existing library.
5. Data retention & your rights
Because we don't collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective privacy policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in the App Store account settings.
6. Children
Sizely is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version on this page.
